Firstly I would like to clarify if anybody is reading the content of this post inorder to have only six packs abs …… Bro sorry ! but don’t waste your time here. Fitness necessarily doesn’t mean only six packs abs ; Fitness simply means a healthy body free from any sort of illness be it physical or mental. People who want to opt for any fitness regime , need to understand their body first. There are three basic human body types: the endomorph, the mesomorph, and the ectomorph. Ectomorph – An ectomorph tends to be thin, and struggles to gain weight as either body fat or muscle. They can eat piles of food and stay looking the same, even when gaining muscular weight is their biggest goal. People who battle to gain muscle are often known as “hardgainers.” Mesomorph – The mesomorph has a middle-of-the-road build that takes the best of both worlds. They tend to have wide shoulders, a narrow waist, relatively thin joints, and round muscle bellies. In short, if you’re a mesomorph, you have a natural tendency to be fit and relatively muscular. Endomorph – The endomorph tends to gain weight and keep it on. Their build is a little wider than an ectomorph or mesomorph, with a thick ribcage, wide hips, and shorter limbs. They may have more muscle than either of the other body types, but they often struggle to gain it without significant amounts of accompanying body fat. Now once you understand the kind of body you poses , it becomes easier to operate on it. People having Ectomorph body types would be suggested to go for less cardio and more of a heavy weightlifting in order to gain mass and muscular body.whereas , Mesomorph being the most difficult body type needs to be dealt wisely with calculated cardio and weightlifting. It has to be a mix of both in a calculated manner else you will start looking bulky even after spending hours in gym. lastly , Endomorph would be suggested for heavy cardio and weightlifting should be with less heavy weights but more repetitions to get athlete look. So don’t go blindly with what your trainers suggesting, 10 mins of running is a must for any body type and rest should be followed based on nature of your body. Also would suggest don’t go for PROTEINS in initial days of workout ; Go for it only once you have reduced all your fats in the body and gained some natural shape. I have struggled alot with various suggestions and become frustrated with zero outcome after years of workout. Now i believe i have understood the right mix for the body and following it with desired results on cards. Hope you all find it worth it to take up your workout regimes wisely from tomorrow onwards.
Stay Fit ! Stay Healthy.
